so apparently panther has some sort of feature that acts as a caller ID for incoming calls while you are on a dial-up connection.

is there anyone out there with panther who could possibly check and see if i could use this as a form of caller ID while i was on broadband internet instead of dial-up? i am at school and would love to just be able to use my computer as caller ID in my room, but dial-up is not something i want to get into while i have a decently fast connection.

I don't believe that the Apple modems support Caller ID.:(
