Last year I bought some PC3200, CL3 ram for my iMac G5 off ebay and it has worked flawlessly.

I´m not 100% sure if it´s Infineon, but on the grey boxes on the sticks is this serial written: Infineon HYB250512800BE--5

On the sticks themselves is written Transcend.

My question is whether I´m likely to use this ram (2x1GB) for my new PC build. I´m thinking of getting an AMD X2 3800+, socket 939, if I´m able to use this ram sucessfully.

We hardly use our Macs anymore and we still have 512mb ram for each, so I´m thinking if I could save money by using this ram...

Any help is appreciated!

Cheers!

Willy
