Ok i have a few questions

Im doing graphic design at college and Have ordered the new MBP and also the Adobe CS4 suite (Master Collection) As I am in Education I got the suite for £400 bargain in my eyes.

I have shot small movies over the years using imovie as my only editing suite and the thought of getting After effects and Premiere pro really excites me as I will finally be able to get my creative ideas out in a decent. After I learn how to use the programs that is.

But I notices I get on location, what I gather is that on location as a program that sorts out all my footage live as I am filing it. I have a Casio Exilim EX-F1 the camera that shoots 60 fps and slow-mo movies and HD. which is fantastic, but I presume I need a camera that has a firewire port to take use of on location.

After I pay off my new MBP on my credit card, I was thinking about investing in a better camcorder if I get to grips with the suite. I dont want to shot home videos it would be for Indie movies.

Can anyone suggest what I should look for so I can get an idea of what I need? Or how I can get started.

Its hard because I am interested in Print, Web and Video and choosing a course was difficult and I figured which ever path I choose as a career I could pursue the others as more of a hobby.
