Yes, my computer is super-old! But I only use it for pics, email, and web surfing at home so I don't want to get a new one.

Are there any digital camcorders that would work with this computer? I have an external hard drive with over 120 Gigs, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Camcorder would be for our new baby, so nothing even remotely professional and cost is an issue. I would like to edit and I've done it in iMovie a few years ago.

Thanks for any advice or tips!

If you're running 10.3, then your only option is a miniDV camcorder. If you don't mind buying used, the Canon Elura 100 is a great camcorder.

If you buy new, your options are limited as they aren't making miniDV camcorders much anymore. I think Canon only has one model and Sony might have 2 models. You should be able to get a new miniDV camcorder for about $250 or so.
