Camcorders compatible with Mountain Lion

I am looking for a camcorder to replace my Flip Nano because it is no longer fully compatible with Mountain Lion. It's a more difficult job than I had expected. You first have to find a likely candidate; then, you have to see if it's compatible with Mountain Lion. This is where I'm stuck. What is the easiest way to check a camcorder to make sure that it will be compatible with Mountain Lion? I have written to three sellers about this. Two said that they didn't know, and the third hasn't yet replied. This isn't a good way.
