I know this has probably been talked about before but I don't understand why the camera app just does not like the fact that some people may not want the gps coordinates of each picture imbedded into their pictures.

Does anyone else get annoyed that you have to hit "Don't Allow" each and every time you open the camera app?

Once you tell it twice in a row you don't want to allow, it supposedly goes away.

Every single time, without fail, since I first used it. Really irks me, too.

Edit: Thinking about it, it will ask again no matter how I answer the box this time. It only doesn't ask if I turn off location services. Thinking about it some more, it does a little more than irk me.

I clicked yes to allow it but when I import my photos into iPhoto it never knows where I took the pictures. Anyone have any idea why?

You can turn it off on a per-app basis in 4.0.
just to address this a lil further, apps only ask you once about location and 4.0 never asks again once you say ok or no and after that you hae a sub-menu to alter what app has permission and what app doesn't for your location....but you need to first set the location yes or no in the app before it appears in settings menu
