Instagram Vs. PRo HDR Vs. Camera+!

Which one is the best and why?

I have only used Instagram and Camera+, but I couldn't really choose one over the other. They both serve different purposes and I use them both. If I really had to pick, I guess I would choose Camera+ since it has a more versatile set of features.

What are you going to be using the app for, just taking photos? Advanced effects?

Instagram resolution is ****. It is fun though for some quick pics straight to social media that you don't mind being crap quality.

Built in Camera quick access off lock screen + Photogene + ColorSplash + Pixlromatic + SketchBookx

or even PS Express

Has been everything I've needed from picture perspective.

Camera+ gets my vote. I like the added features especially the "timer" feature that the stock camera app doesn't offer.

Camera+ gets my vote, the flexibility, quality, range of filters and effects is great. It's the closest you'll get to desktop photoshop on a mobile device.

Camera+ developer taptaptap often run competitions via their blog, and some of the pics from their users are incredible, take a look: http://taptaptap.com/blog/

Instagram is useful for sharing photos, has some neat filters and a superb implementation of tilt shift.

If you can, get both, if not get Camera+

They're both different products and can't really be compared.
Instagram is like twitter but with pictures.
Camera+ is for editing pictures.

The newest version of Instagram, came out today I believe, now has the default resolution of the 5MP camera. However it still uploads to IG with their default 612x612 resolution. Your saved photos from IG are still HD tho.

Camera+ is great if you want to take pictures, manipulate them, etc. and then do as you want with them.

Camera+

and i was surprised, Snapseed is free today

Camera + is the best i have used...you can import your old photos and improve them. Apply great filters and adjust the intensity of each. Clarity filter brings photos to life in a very natural way ( not that hdr gimmick that others have) using it mostly in darker places

In photo app you have anti shake, multiple snapshot (you can than choose witch one you want latter) and self timer. You can separate focus and lens exposure.

Also you can post pictures to Facebook and twitter directly from the app
