Camera Compatible?

It's just a plain old SD card memory. If, for some really odd reason you can't get images off by directly USB plugging the camera into the computer using the supplied Image Capture program (I'd be astonished), you could always use an SD card reader (which is usually a better choice anyway).

yes it will work one way or another. like the poster above said, if iPhoto (or Aperture or Image Capture) won't recognize the camera via USB, buy an external card reader and download the pictures of the SD card
