I’ve lost count of how many iPhone X units I’ve had now, replacements, repairs (at my expense & apples) and under a year ago a send away repair for the same issue. They replaced both end camera and screen... but they’re back. I’m back to the Apple Store on Friday... clearly the phone is out of Warranty so I’m anticipating a fight.

And with your attitude with the ‘fight comment‘, you’ll be politely asked to leave the store.

At what point do you say to yourself, if I keep receiving all these defective devices, do I just teach Apple lesson and Move On and purchase something from a competitor and/or a different iPhone model all together. I don’t know how many iPhone X models you have ‘gone through’, but I have never experienced dust behind the camera lens cover.

Either way, Apple is trained to clean and disassemble behind the camera lens cover, so you should be able to verify right before you leave the store that there’s no issues with dust whatsoever.
