I am so sorry if this has been covered. I tried a search first. I’ve read a ton of articles, watched YouTube videos and reviews. I’m still left wondering; aside from the 2x telephoto lens on the Pro series, are there any other implications of the 11 not having the lens? For instance, are night mode shots, portrait shots, etc affected by the lack of the telephoto lens? Most pics shared on here are by Pro users so I cannot tell. Thanks for any info you have. PWM may force me into the 11 and I’m concerned about losing more from the camera aspect than just zoom.

Nope. Except the tele is much improved this year (its usable in low light). The wide and ultrawide are exactly the same betwen the cameras.

Apparently there is no difference between them, and I don't think the telephoto lens is being used to do any of the software tricks. It also seems that whatever "deep fusion" is, it is coming to the iPhone 11 as well, so the zoom (and zoom portrait) are the only things missing.
