I was looking to get into some studio flash photography. I was wondering what are some good, reliable (if so, cost efficient) flash brands and types that I should put into consideration. Aslo, if you have any opinions on wired/wireless flash triggers, include that too.

Thanks all for your time!

So I started with a 430exii and recently went half and half with my Dad to buy a proper bowens studio kit.

It depends what sort of shots you are aiming to get.

Like cameras and lens it's often the modifiers that are the best items to buy and not necessarily the flashes.

Yongnuo are very popular for being cheaper but still having a lot of features.

It depends if you want one speedlight with all the bells and whistles or 2 or 3 to be able to complete some lighting setups.

Don't forget to factor in the prices for the stands and light modifiers!
