I have an iPhone 3GS and all of a sudden I have a black mark that shows on the screen when I open any camera app. I did manage to get it to go away once, but I have no idea what I did. It was during a sync.
I backed up the phone, and also did a restore. It still shows, and it is visible on any pictures I take. Does anyone have any ideas. I`m not a big techie, so make it simple :)

No harm in cleaning the lens. Did you try that? A soft cloth should do the trick.

If that doesn't work then you have a bad camera sensor. :(

it sounds like theres dirt obstructing the camera lens, clean the lens and if that doesn't work then you have a faulty camera.
