Does anyone feel like their camera is taking poor quality photos?

Here’s a comparison between my 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max. Taken from the same position, same time.

Might be a photographer error.

Also seems like a really obscure photo, really zoomed in, with poor lighting. Are there any photos where you really try to compose an image and the phone is letting you down..?

I took an excellent photo of a spider today. That’s all I’ve done so far.

I’d be more concerned of having that in my house than how well my new iphone takes pictures.

If you don’t plan on getting rid of it, do you plan to move out or having it start paying rent? 😅
It was on the outside of the door. I let him stay outside and I wasn’t going to try to catch him! 🤣

Yes. It sometimes seems like the HDR isn’t turned on - I’ll get blown out highlights from a window in the background, while the subject of the photo is underexposed. If anything, my past iPhone experience has been too much HDR, with dark areas boosted and bright areas turned down and the photo looking too flat. Now I’m sometimes getting the dynamic range of a digital camera from 15 years ago.
