Camera remote app not on Apple watch

I can’t find the camera remote app on my series 6 watch. Both it and my my phone are running the latest software (7.2 and 14.3). I can’t find the app on my phone or watch. What am I missing?

there is no "Camera" app for the watch, there is also not a camera in the watch ... there is a "Camera Remote" app on the watch that you can use to remote control the camera in your iPhone, have never used it though ...

Camera Remote is a standard app. https://support.apple.com/guide/watch/camera-remote-apda6e61c287/watchos

Try using Siri to open "Camera Remote" - if that doesn't work...

It's possible you accidentally deleted it. Open App Store from your Watch and then search for Camera Remote. If it has the cloud/download icon, then we know what happened.
