Camera roll taking a LONG time to download

Restored from backup on a new ip5 2 days ago. I had 917 photos (and a few videos) on my previous ip5. When I open the photos app it says its still downloading. As of now it's at 616 of 917. It didn't take this long on my previous ip5. Any ideas why?
