Hi!
I downloaded firmware from OLYMPUS site (from link on olympus master 2 app).
As it reached the end of an (apparently successful) download, the camera went 'dead'. now nothing I can do will open it. Any attempt to connect camera to computer gets the message 'cannot detect camera'.
Another weird thing - maybe unconnected - is that when I restart my computer, the Olympus app starts up also. (I don't have it on my dock and I've checked all the preferences etc.
The very clever advice from Olympus is that there is something wrong with my camera! (Where do they get these people from?)
Is there a way I can try to remedy this from files in my computer or has the download 'broken into' a circuit in the chip in the camera? Or something equally geekie?
Any thoughts anyone?
