Camera Zoom Problems

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, and I'm also not sure if this is the right forum or not but, I have an iPhone 4s and I am unable to zoom in or out on the video mode of the camera. When I'm in photo mode I am able to zoom in and out as normal, but when I change to the video camera I can't zoom out or in. It's slightly zoomed in too and this bugs me. How do I fix it? It worked fine earlier. It thinks that I'm trying to focus instead of zooming.

iOS Camera app has never been able to zoom in/out on video mode... you need another app to do that, like Luma
