Although equipment wise this is all Nikon gear, I'm sure
this may be of interest to all camera enthusiasts.
I particularly liked the shot of the astronaut hand holding a D2x and 400mm with 2x teleconverter. If only it were that easy on land!
Great for Nikon. Their equitment, in space, unmodified. That's answers my question about what camera I should take when I go to mars

Now if NASA can get their paws on the Nikkor 1200-1700mm f5.6-8.0 (the Mother of All Zooms), they can retire the Hubble Space Telescope.
In zero G, those astronauts should be able to handhold that 16Kg monster easily.
