# Improvements to toolbar search - now it's even easier to add new engines to the search bar, with auto-discovery
# New find bar - my own personal contribution to this release. No more red-headed step-child Find panel
# Scrolling tabs - life really sucked before with a lot of tabs. Now it's much better (but it's still not Tabspose, we're still working on it!)
# Software Update - finally! Always stay up to date.
# AppleScript support - a contribution from my Google Summer of Code mentee.
# Save passwords for multiple accounts - finally finally!
# Web-based Feed support - want to use Google Reader (like I do)? Now it's even easier!
# ...And tons of bugfixes and improvements so the web works better!

I will figure out if its gecko 1.9 or 1.8.1 based tomorrow. information are welcome.
nvm, its 1.8.1.14.

I figure multiple acc keychain like in camino 1.6 will be firefox 3.x or 4's top priority.

its the same problem asked years ago, and I still have no answers...

Camino's green button now zooms to fit page content tho...

thanks for the heads up, might be going back to Camino full time now. safari is getting annoying as of late.

i'll stick with firefox 3 for now. i've tried all the popular browsers and keep coming back to firefox. honestly if safari and it's clones would clear out the privacy stuff upon exit like firefox does, i would probably switch.
that's just me though.

doesn't safari have a private browsing function? Not meet your need?:)

When private browsing is turned on, webpages are not added to the history, items are automatically removed from the Downloads window, information isn't saved for AutoFill (including names and passwords), and searches are not added to the pop-up menu in the Google search box. Until you close the window, you can still click the Back and Forward buttons to return to webpages you have opened.

in safari you have to enable private browsing each time you use safari. why can it not just stay enabled? unless i'm missing something.

I just can't do without Firefox until another browser is able to use extensions and has as much extension support as Firefox. Plus Firefox 3 (beta) is the best browser out there. It doesn't use much memory any more and it is incredibly fast and stable.

The only thing it needs is for the "Bookmark Sync and Sort" extension to be made compatible with v.3.

I've been using the betas for a while, and its pretty good. I set up my grandad's Mac and gave him Camino as his default browser, its likely that in the future there will be less "Safari vs FF" threads and more involving all three of these.

foxmarks has dev version for firefox 3, you can check it out, i never use this type of extension, so Im not sure if it fits your need.

Also, I heard google browser sync will be updated to firefox 3 as well soon.

Camino still slows to a crawl when flash is on the page......

Firefox and Safari can scroll these pages perfectly smoothly.
