Campshell mode audio

I am using a macbook pro and when I enter campshell mode using a TV and HDMI cable, the audio begins to come out my laptop instead of the TV, can you fix this? ps. I used option and the volume button to select my audio output through my TV.

Go to the sound settings on your Mac, and select HDMI as the output.

It's clamshell mode by the way.
