Can 3 devices use 1 itunes acct?

I have my main itunes acct that I activated my husbands iphone 2g on - i am getting another 2g for my daughter, and i am getting a ipod touch - can they all use the same itunes acct and maintain separate playlists to sync, etc?

will purchased apps/songs be available to all 3?

Yes you can, we have 3 iphones and 1 ipod touch all on one account

Yep. I've got my original iPhone, my 3G, and my new 3GS all syncing just fine with my one and only iTunes account.

by same time, they dont literally mean plugging them both in and synching it at exactly the same time, but rather can have multiple phones synch to the account
