Can 61w Apple Charger Fast Charge M2 Macbook Air?

I'm about to trade in my 2016 macbook pro and it uses a 61W power adapter. I'm aware that M2 Macbook Air requires 67W adapter for fast charge, but with only 6W difference, I'm wondering if it's possible to reuse the 61W charger to fast charge the new Macbook Air.

Yes, anything above 30W for MBA is fast charging.

Does the M2 Air fast charging work over MagSafe and also either USB-C ports?

It will definitely work and charge it a lot faster then a 30w but 67 will be that bit faster of course since it supports that charging speed
