I was thinking about getting the creative suite premium and was wondering if there are any problems running it on a macbook pro

It definitely does.

I've been using both Photoshop and Premiere Pro CS5 and I got no problem.

In Premiere I was editing a 1280*720 video and it worked fine, even the preview on the right... And with my desktop pc (2.4 Ghz C2D with 4Gb DDR2 RAM, using Windows 7) it never worked, neither using the lower quality preview..

Same story exporting: faster than my desktop pc.
I'm really impressed, believe me. :apple:

My 2008 MacBook Alu. Unibody easily runs pretty much all the Adobe software (PS, Illustrator, InDesign is what I use). You'll be just fine. :)

Memory

Can those that are running the programs speak to how much RAM is actually in use with say Photoshop and/or Premiere etc. Are you realistically going to use more than 4GB in everyday use?

Photoshop uses anywhere from 900mb-1.2GB for me...

I guess i will be the only one to disagree with everyone. I have the base 2.4 13" and started editing RAW's recently with CS% Master suite and its kind of disappointing how often i'm beach balling.

Yes it is "enough" but i would say the i5 is highly "preferred"

How many Windows do you have open? and do you have any other apps open?

The 13" is meant to be ultra portable so I don't expect it to be a graphic design machine - and with that in mind it is more than enough for what should be expected.
