Hey! I've got the cash and I am ready to purchase my iPad 3g this week! I want to go in store and I already know the store I am going to has them. I am under 18 so is it possible for me to buy a 3g with out and ID and the like?

I'm not sure, but if I had to guess I'd say no. You most likely have to sign a contract, and you can't do that.

Isn't the iPad contract free? Someone pointed that out to me in my other thread, I still don't believe AT&T would allow that

It would make sense to call the store that you're going to buy it from and ask, then :)
Already on top of that?! Looks like its a go! Bringing my friend with me for "some" protection in Boston lol

Don't you need a credit card in the US to sign up for the 3G anyways? Do they give 'em out in the US, too, under age 18? (I only know those pre-paid cards to train you to spend money you don't have once you get a real card before you even earned your first $, if you have those in the US). Or can you buy codes with money to load that up on your iPad?
