SC II ( 1680 X 1050 @ high or ultra ) + 1080p movie + safari without any form of lagging in Lion OS X.

SC II runs with no problem, but when I watch a 1080p movie and also Safari open, it starts to lag a bit. ( Lion OS X )

You're running SC2 and a movie at the same time?

Yes, sometimes I play custom games. Some are not really active or turn based, so I switch back to watching a movie that I got running in the background or checking some site :p

Multitasking ftw!

If its starting to lag, then it means your pushing it. When its unplayable then it means you have pushed it up to its limits. But if its just laggy but still playable, then it can still handle it.

Have at least 8gb if you hadn't already made the upgrade.

As for the system handling it, it shouldn't have a problem as long as you aren't doing this on a surface that traps in the heat, such as a bed.

With enough RAM it should be able to do it.

A 1080P movie is useless though, the computer cannot display it fully, try 720p instead, should look just as good on such a small screen and would tax the computer less.
