Can a Bell iPhone 5 be unlocked for AT&T?

Hi there,
I can use a family members upgrade at home to get a bell iPhone 5, and was hoping to bring it down and put it on my current AT&T plan. I was wondering if this is possible, and the steps that are necessary to get it done.

Unfortunatly Bell do not unlock the iphone. You will need to get a unlocked phone directly from Apple.

can it be unlocked though a third party though? I've done online unlocking of Blackberries before, but I've never tried an iPhone

Search on ebay for Bell iphone imei unlocks.
I heard they are really expensive for canadian carriers.
Its not like AT&T iphones that go for $5-6.
