Right now I have a Samsung 128GB SSD in this MBP. I can't get it to recognize the Toshiba 512GB.

This one came from a sparc server running solaris and has an EFI label which is what Mac uses right?

Before I go thru the hassle of running to Fry's and getting a usb/sata adapter and try to manage this disk while booted from my older SSD, I just wanted to find out if this should work.

It's model number is THNSNC512GBSJ. I know this drive will work in a standard x86 based PC but not sure about my older MBP.

Thanks for any info.

Ever since the switch to Intel a Mac is just a regular PC in a nice case that runs OS X. It'll work.
