iPad mini Can a logic board from an iPad Mini with Retina be placed into an Original iPad Mini

Hello Forum,

I have a serious question that I was curious about and I would like to know other Forum Members thoughts/opinions.

Can a logic board (with the A7 & M7 SoC) from an iPad Mini with Retina be placed into an Original iPad Mini?

I'd be very surprised if the two logic boards are interchangeable. Even if the A5 and A7 chips are the same size with the same pins, the rest of the board may be configured differently.

It may be possible but i wonder it the non-retina screen would still be compatible with that a7 processor from the rmini???
