Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if I can replace my original video card in my first gen Mac Pro 1,1 with a EVGA GeForce GTX 680 pc video card? and if so, can you please explain to me step by step how to do it.
I installed the drivers, turned it off, installed the card and booted up and Iam not getting anything on the screen. The fan on the card is spinning but I just have a black screen.
Here are my specs
Processor 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Memory 21 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256 MB
Serial Number G87272MFUQ2
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
DELL U2713HM Display
2560 x 1440
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256 MB graphics
