hi

can a macbook 13" white 2.4 run games? and if it can what games does it run and how well?

It really depends what you want to do and how you run them.

If you intend games to be a big thing, don't get a MacBook.

If you just want to play the odd game and don't mind if you have to have visual settings lowered, then the MB is fine.

Nonsense. Macrumors.com is in itself a selling point.

I upgraded to the MBP so I could be able to browse Page 2 rumors! :D

Zomg, I've always wondered what those rumors look like....
I guess I'll never know until I can drop the cash for a Pro D:!

lol

You'll want to turn the display backlight down to a minimum because the rumors are pretty gorgeous to contemplate on that 1440 * 900 resolution!

It can run some older (2+ years old) titles at lowest graphics, but its still choppy. For games game MacBook Pro.

Unreal Tournament 2004, which is still tons of fun for me, runs great at high quality settings on my 2.2GHz MacBook (X3100) at full 1280x800 resolution. Was playing a bit earlier tonight. Virtually no choppiness even with 12 bots running around.

games i run on mine are diablo 2, roller coaster tycoon, starcraft, zero hour nothing new but thats what the PS3 is for.

with the universal update on zero hour my new macbook runs it better than my old 1st gen 1.8 power mac :p
