can a macbook pro run cs source?

even the 2006 macbook pros could run source with good configs. Source is not a hardcore graphic game

Yeah your perfectly fine the source engine is old, it came out back in november of 2004 the exact week as Halo 2. You will have no problem running it.

Are you planing to play Source over VMWare or on BootCamp?

Dont know much about windows on the mac but I did plan to use bootcamp what's the difference with the other program

with Bootcamp you have full graphic card support. With Parallels/VMWare you emulate windows inside OS X and get no graphic card support, so no hardcore gaming using those.
