Hi All,

I was curious to find out if a micro sim can get erased if it is touched by a magnet? I had my spare micro sim in my laptop bag and I have a Arc mouse which has a magnet used to hold the wireless transponder (for storage). Anyway, this morning, I took the mouse out and noticed that the micro sim was stuck to it. So, I swapped out my AT&T sim and put the TMobile sim in there and it just shows "Searching". I don't know if it's because the area I am may not have Tmobile access. I'll try again later when I get home from work. Anyways was just curious if Microsims can get erased.

Thanks!

SIM cards don't store stuff magnetically, just like sd cards and the like. So no, you can't erase them with a magnet.

Thanks for the quick reply mate. I'll try checking when I get home. Just weird that it can't find tmobile service. Maybe just the area I'm in or the overcasted weather at the moment.
