Trying to decide if I should go with a Mac Mini or not. Currently I’m using my 2018 MacBook Pro 15” docked at work using 2 28” monitors.
basically the job is allowing me to purchase a new computer. but I can’t just go balls out on one either. And I don’t want anyone in the office to know I got a new computer (so iMac is out) personally..
I just wonder if the Mac Mini can handle my work load. (more so the graphics card). I occasionally do video editing. 1080p max footage though. So that part doesn’t matter. But photoshop! 3x a week minimum! Some files are basic. Maybe 15 layers...
But I do have some files that are 2gigs and have hundreds of layers. And I need to be fast and responsive and majority of the time I have multiple photoshop pages open with 30 safari tabs lol.
HTML m/web development. Remoting into systems as well as usually having parallels running at all times.
Hard drive space doesn’t matter because I’ll be connected to our server which has terabytes of storage at my disposal.
