Can a Powerbook G4 with plenty of RAM and a Desktop G5 run 10.5.6?

I have received donated computers for a non-profit foundation I am involved with. The two computers in question are a Powerbook G4 3 with plenty of RAM and Desktop G5. Can I install Mac OS 10.5.6 on both of these machines and will they perform adequately?

G5: Yes.
G4: Depends on the processor speed. You say it has plenty of RAM, but unless it's a 1 GHz or above, it probably won't fare too well.
