Hello. I need Illustrator and Photoshop now. I think Production Premium would be the idea package as I probably will use Premiere later. Not sure yet as I got iMovie. The cost for Production Premium is a bit high. Anybody knows if I could buy the educational version of Design Standard now and then upgrade to the educational version of Production Premiere later? Will it be more expensive to upgrade later than buy the Production Premium up front? Thanks.

Can a user upgrade from Adobe Design Standard to Production Premium?

The edu versions are upgradable with commercial versions but it's less costly to purchase a new edu version than going the upgrade route. You have to purchase the right edu version from the start as there are only full edu versions sold. With a 80% rebate there is no need to have upgrade versions.
