Hi,

Just a question for those who have used the Airports. Can a USB hub be used to expand the number of devices the Airport can use? i.e., an external hd, a laserjet, and an inkjet?

Thanks!

The AP Express only officially supports Printers on its USB Port, as it has no power coming from the USB Port, whether a Power USB HDD would work, i dont know.

Not likely, as the Apple firmware in the Express only supports printers. Technically, I'll bet it could support HD's, but Apple want you to stump up the extra for the Extreme or Time Capsule if you want that kind of thing. Shame..

Yes, but you must use a powered hub.

Non powered hubs seem to work fine on my Extreme. I currently have a printer and a 1TB (powered) hd plugged in to my Extreme via a non powered hub.
If the USB port on an Express is not powered (I dont know myself) then yes, you'd need a powered hub for sure.
