Can an Airport Express do this?

Hello!

I just got a new tv that can browse the web and play media shared on the home network. It just needs to be connected the network with a regular network cable. The problem is that the router is in another room.

So I was wondering if I could connect the tv to the network, by getting the Airport to log on to the existing network, and then use a network cable from the Airport to the tv?

Is that possible? If yes - how?

yes it can do that. set it to 'extend you network' then just connect the tv to it with an ethernet cable.
