Home Can an Apple Time Capsulebe used as a nas for security cameras?

I have a Google WiFi setup and I am looking to get a nas for my IP security cameras. I found a used 5th gen for 75 and would like to buy it if this would work

It does not have any software that would handle that, but if say your Mac has the software to handle that, the Time Capsule drive could be used for the video storage. Is that what you mean?
