How good are you with a Dremel? You'll need to shave the upper portion of the hole. Keep in mind the cutout is gonna look really odd though.
 
That's the opposite situation. That's fitting a 6/6s case to a 7. The original question was fitting a 7 case to a 6/6s, which I was questioning the reasoning for anyway.

I don't think Spigen makes a Flip Armor case for the 6/6s. Hence the need to modify the 7 version.

Yes that is my point. I put the Spigen Slim Liquid Armor IP7 case on my gf's 6S and the top portion of the camera cutout slightly covered the lens - but it looks like it can be trimmed down to make it fit.

It can be modified to fit. Although, since the 7's cutout is not the same, you might want to test taking pictures in dark environments to make sure the flash isn't being reflected back. If it does reflect back you can probably fix it by increasing the cutout even more.
