iPod touch Can an iPod Touch 4 Work with an Older Stereo??

Hi. I have the Denon iPod dock listed in the link below. I want to use it with my 1990 vintage Kenwood Amplifier. It shows that it is in Dock Connect mode but won't play any music. I have tried the CD and Phono input jacks.

Is this a "Sorry, dude, time to upgrade that amp" kind of thing?

Edit: I answered my own question by digging out my old Nano. It works fine with my stereo and the Denon dock. Please note the warning below.

The Denon ASD-11R dock is not compatible with the iPod Touch 4.

Denon dock only works with newer Denon units. You need something like either one of these, or some other kind of simple audio-out dock.

I use the second one for my iPt4 on my SoundDock Series I.
