Can an NZ gift card (Apple Store) be turned into an NZ iTunes Gift Card?

I accidentally bought the wrong type of NZ gift card (Apple Store). Do I have the ability to somehow purchase with it an NZ iTunes Gift Card? ( to be sent to me digitally) as I am in the USA.
