can any one help solve the dual audio problem

can any one help solve this problem with boot camp an xp that stosp audio coming out of the speakers when you plug headphones in to my macbook

i just want sound to come out of the headphones

i know its a known problem but some someone musty have a fix
please help

Best fix I have found is pick up a USB audio adapter. PLugs into the USB port, takes over audio controls and will only feed the head set and mic in. Unplug it and sound is restored to the speakers.
