I bought an Intel 320 and after using it, I'm going to get a Crucial M4. But seeing as how it's SATA 3 and hearing about how people are having problems, I'm being a little cautious. This article says it's fixed. Can anyone confirm if the update helps?

I may be wrong, but I believe it has been "fixed" on the Late-2011s in that the bay for the optical drive can only ever see SATAII while the main HDD bay can see SATAIII speeds (as opposed to the what-you-get-is-what-you-get on the Early models)

I'm using a sataIII owc ssd in mine and is working great no problems. i know its been fixed for owc drives but I'm not sure for other ssds
