I am a newbie to Mac and I have some difficulties installing PHP5 on my macbook! Can anyone help me with detailed instructions and commands i need to enter on the terminal ??
I managed to install apache.:confused::confused:

If you are not comfortable with installing stuff in the terminal or don't know your way around the shell, try downloading MAMP (Mac Apache, MySQL & Php/Perl) at http://www.mamp.info

No mucking about with Terminal and command line installs. Just copy it to Apps folder, run it and set the Apache pref to point to your web directory. You can even switch between php 4 and 5 (5 is default).
