Didn't find a more appropriate place to ask the question, so I thought I'd ask here.

I've got a Sony DV camera - Model DCR-HC21 - that doesn't seem to download video from the camera to my Mac Pro easy - or at all!

Is there a simple fix? Or do I need special software and patch cords to make it work?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Mac Pro or MacBook Pro? And what exact model of either Mac Pro or MacBook Pro do you use?*
Which Mac OS X version is on either Mac?*
Which software (and version) do you use to capture the footage from the Mini DV camcorder?
What Firewire cable do you use?**

Thanks for the reply -

I'm running a 15" Mac Book Pro with Mac OS X v.10.7.4

What about the rest of the questions?
