Can anyone reccommend a good data recovery freware?

Hi all....
I guess the title says it all
Accidentally deleted and thrashed some pics.... it would be nice if i could recover some if not all of it... But the data recovery applications I've come across the web are rather expesive... most of them more than a hundred bucks.... Just wondering if anyone has come any freeware of this kind...

The best is DataRescue II from prosoft. But like you said, its $99. This may be worth it, but be warned that with any data recovery system, you're taking a chance. That said, there is no free data recovery program that I know of.

I say buy DataRescue II for $99, if its worth it to you.
