Can anyone recommend a GOOD news app that will actually send notifications about important events? Currently using Apple News and it never wants to notify me about actual real news, just fluff. Today, for some reason, Apple News thought I needed a push notification to read a story about a lady in the UK that had some sort of life-threatening infection and barely survived because she thought it was just a cold. While I do feel sympathy for the rather sick Brit, I can't help but feel I really didn't need a push notification for that. Meanwhile, Apple News has stayed silent on all the real news stories going on out there.
Tried Google News and it was basically the same story. No, I don't need a push notification telling me that Ryan Reynolds knocked up Blake Lively again.
