Can anyone recommend a Point & Shoot with wide lens?

For example, if I have two cameras and take a picture of a subject ten feet away, I want to choose the camera that captures more of the background.

Must have HD video recording capabilities too.

Two suggestions

Have you looked at the Panasonic, LX5? Or, Olympus, XZ-1?

I dont know what your price range is but I recently got the sony NEX-5 and I love it.

The LX5 with wide angle conversion lens will go down to about 18mm. But it's not exactly compact. 24mm without it is still pretty wide though.
