Can anyone recommend a short 3.5 male to female headphone adapter?

This seems to be a necessity with pretty much all iphone 5 battery cases. Mophies come with their own adapter but most other cases don't. And if you are using a mophie but lose your adapter, supposedly you can't get a replacement from mophie. Does anyone have any recommendations on a reliable adapter?

Do you mean an adaptor because normal headphones won't fit with a case on?

I don't have this, but reviewers say it works well. Also, if you buy from monoprice, you might as well throw in some other cables to justify the shipping costs. Can never have too many cables

This might be what you're looking for. I have one exactly like it from Griffin. I needed it for my old 3G with the recessed headphone jack. Worked like a charm.

These are good suggestions, thanks! Unfortunately, most of the battery cases make it almost impossible to use any headphones unless the metallic male tip of the cable itself is longer than normal. So it's not just an extension cable that I need, it's a longer than normal metallic tip, or an extension cable that's super thin and not much wider than the width of the tip itself... having trouble finding anything like that.
