Really pulling my hair out with this one. This video details what's happening perfectly - can anyone help me fix this? I'm running latest version of Mavericks on the latest version of iTunes - MacBook Pro 2011 13 inch. No 3rd party drivers, plenty of Ram.

Backup first, just in case. Here's some stuff you can try.

However, my advice would be to set up an appointment with the Genius Bar, go to the Apple Store, and have them run their diagnostics.

It's probably a Mavericks issue, but you never know. Show them the video or demonstrate it there.
